The Towe family has been involved in the door industry since 1969 when Colin Towe, new to Australia from England, started as an installer with B & D Roll-a-Door in Melbourne in 1969. In the following years 6 more Towe family members have become entrenched in the garage door industry.

In 1977 Colin Towe left the B & D organisation and started E.S.S. GARAGE DOORS from the garage at home. 1983 was soon here and E.S.S. GARAGE DOORS moved to a small factory unit less than 100 metres from the site of the current showroom/factory in Peachtree Road, Penrith.

Although we have grown over the years to being the largest retailer of garage doors in the area we still offer the same services and a friendly smile that was so important to us in the formative early years.
